We were getting ready to go outside this afternoon even though we heard some thunder in the distance. I thought we could get a little outside time in before the rain started. Dorian was sitting down to put on his shoes and asked if daddy was going to be okay at his softball game. I then told him that daddy was at his office at work and that he was safe there. Then Dorian asked if we could pray for daddy at his office. So, of course, we did. He closed his eyes, folded his hands and we asked God to bless daddy at his work and to help him to have a good afternoon. When I was calling to talk to Nathan quite a while later, Dorian wanted to tell him that we had prayed for him. He was excited about it. :) Then Dorian told me that God hears us when we pray. I know that, but what a great reminder. Oh, how precious.
summer vacation 2011
We've been looking at rental properties over the last couple of days so that my family can join us out here next summer for a vacation. I'm so excited about it! It's too bad that I have to wait a whole year before it comes around. :)
