Since Nathan was working a couple of hours away in Ann Arbor for most of the week last week, we decided to join him for a couple of nights. :)
After breakfast, we were off to the swimming pool. Dorian and Levi called these their fire pants! :) The neighbor had just graciously given us some clothes the day before, which included the fire pants. Don't they look good! I don't think they have ever gotten dressed so quickly as they did on this morning. Their excitement was uncontainable. Once we got to the pool, Dorian was super brave and with his life jacket on, he swam around the pool on his own for the first time. I love to see him when he's proud of himself, and he was.
Then it was off to Domino Farms! The boys were given a bowl of carrots to feed some of the animals. I thought it was hilarious when Dorian was trying to get this goat to do tricks to earn his carrot!
The hayride was a lot of fun. We rode right up next to the cows and Dorian was waving to them. :)
The next morning, Nathan joined us at the pool before he was off to work. We had to show him how great Dorian was at swimming.
We came back to the room for baths and then the boys cuddled up in their towels to watch a TV show while I packed our suitcases. After a long swim and a bath, their feet were super wrinkly! :)
We drove back home again during nap time.
