Spring

April 25
Dorian played his very first soccer game and I was thrilled to start my career as "soccer mom".  :)  With 3 boys I know I'm going to be attending many athletic events and I can't wait!  Nathan decided to coach Dorian's team!
Levi and his friend Will were cheering for their brothers!
April 26
Ag Day at Dordt.
Nathan met us for lunch and then the boys climbed on as many of the tractors as they could!

Levi's soccer shirt came in the mail for his soccer camp in June.  He is super excited!!!

April 30
Mason loves to look at the lights and the ceiling fans.  The boys thought it would be silly to all copy Mason.  :)  I thought it was silly, but also super cute!

Yeah!  It was warm enough for all the boys to be wearing shorts!!!  It was 4:00 which means you'll always find the boys on the couch watching their favorite show, Wild Kratts.

May 1
Heidi stopped over because Eden was really wanting to see Mason again.  She adores that little boy and always calls him Mason Jay.  :)
Heidi was holding both of our baby's!

May Day:  Yes, this is what our deck looked like on May 1st!  It was actually kind of funny to me because it was so ridiculous.  :)  Compared to our amazing Spring last year, this year is quite the opposite.  I did find comfort in the fact that the last time it's snowed around here in May was in 1976.  :)
Tummy time didn't last too long.  But look how strong he is getting!

Levi made me a beautiful May Day basket at preschool.  It was filled with candy which we promptly ended up eating together.  :)

May 3
Mom and  Grandma came to see the boys before heading over to Heidi's house to celebrate Aniah, Eden and Adria's birthdays.  It was fun to catch a picture of Levi with his Great Grandma eating cupcakes and having fun together.

May 4
I needed to take a picture of Mason in his new shirt that says, "Future Student of Sioux Center Christian School."

May 5
It was Sunday afternoon and I was snuggling with Mason.  The boys were playing Monopoly which they've played at least 10 times this past week since Kerry gave it to us.

May 8
I wanted to capture Mason's smiles on camera!!!  He smiled for the first time at me on April 29 and my heart immediately filled with joy and my eyes teared up.  It was the most precious moment and I'll never forget it.

May 12
Mother's Day
I'm one blessed momma!
After church I went outside to swing with the boys!
Dorian wrapped a couple of presents for me.  The one from him was a picture that he colored and a special rock that he found outside!  So sweet.  The one from "all the boys, even Mason" was some candy.  I'm also so excited to be getting a necklace in the mail soon with each of the boys names on it!
This was a delicious chocolate cake with an M for Mommy.  :)  I'm very spoiled!
May 14
Today is already May 14!  Where does the time go!  It's been pretty busy around here lately.  Nathan left around 4:00 this morning for a conference in North Carolina so I'm going to attempt to keep up with everything on my own for the next 4 days.

Last week I was at the clinic 4 times.  A 6 week follow up visit for Mason and myself.  Then we had to go back again a couple days later for Mason to have shots.  Then we were back again with Levi who was diagnosed with strep throat.  And back again with Dorian who had pink eye.  Thankfully everyone is back to full health around here.  And today is the warmest day we've had so far this spring...so I'm hoping we'll all continue to stay healthy.

I had to record a couple of Levi's quotes from this past week.  A couple days ago he came upstairs after just waking up, sat by me and said, "I can't get my legs started this morning."  :)  And the quote from this morning was, "If God is everywhere he has to be in my nose."  Oh that little boy makes me smile!!!

All my boys make me smile and I'm so thankful for each of them!
