I had a fun day yesterday!
I went out for lunch with my friend Tammy who was visiting for the weekend.
And we went boating in the evening with my parents! The boys were so excited that they put their swimming suits on the moment they woke up in the morning. :)
It doesn't get much better than that! :)
Today has been a mix of celebrating and getting ready for our trip to NY.
Dorian and Levi were so excited to give me my presents that they had picked out and wrapped by themselves. Dorian got me a pink sparkly photo album because he knows that I love photos! And Levi got me some pink decorating frosting. :) And he also got me some Milky Way bites which we promptly opened and he ate most of them. :) I love my boys!
We had a delicious lunch: steak, shrimp, potatoes and beans!
Then my mom came and helped us out by taking the boys to the park which was wonderful!
We had ice cream from Culvers.
I hired a Dordt student to come and clean for us for the rest of the summer and she was here, therefore, we now have a clean house!
At one point this afternoon I was reading with Mason and Nathan took our picture. He is rarely the one to think of taking pictures...but I'm so glad that he captured this fun moment.
Today was certainly busy.
And I'm glad that after many hours planning and packing, I'm nearly ready to head to bed.
