April Memories

At bedtime one night, I told Mason to say good night to his cars.  He turned each one over on its side so they could go to sleep.  :)  He is so adorable.  I also love how he calls Dorian "any" and Levi "wawe".  He will attempt nearly any word that we ask him to say!!!
Easter Sunday: April 5
It was so fun to open the gifts that Grandpa and Grandma Tintle sent to us for Easter!  The boys were especially excited about the baseball and football cards and the coins for their coin collections.
I LOVE all of Levi's great expressions!

Dorian made the beautiful cross picture at school!
I bought the boys matching baskets for Easter this year and they each had a different Easter Egg ball to find for their Easter egg hunt.  Nathan hid the eggs and I had fun taking pictures of them!

Inside the eggs were pieces to a puzzle which spelled out where their big gift was hidden.  It was a set of Magic Tree House books.  Dorian and Levi are both enjoying that series a lot right now and we are hoping that in a few years, Mason will enjoy them too.  :)  I love it when the boys want to read!

We went to Grandpa and Grandma Bolkema's house for Easter dinner after church!  They had an Easter egg hunt there too.

Since the boys didn't have school for a few days over Easter break, I took them to Sioux Falls to Skyzone!  It was fun.

Levi really enjoyed his swimming lessons!
Levi was helping me prep to paint the kitchen!!!  I love how he wanted the iPod right by his head to listen to music while he took off the outlet covers.  What a great helper!  And now that the kitchen has been painted for a few weeks I'm getting used to the new look!  I do like it, but it was a big change.
On the 24th, I went shopping with a friend for the day.  Heidi watched Mason and Levi most of the day, but Nathan fed them lunch and took them to Ag Day at Dordt where they enjoyed looking at animals and climbing on lots of tractors!

Sunday night is pizza night.  I was taking pictures so that I could make a book for Kindermusik about Mason's day.
A Sunday evening bike ride to Children's Park!

Climbing trees and finding leaves!
Mason literally ran up and down the bike path for over an hour!

I love quiet mornings at home with Mason!
It's Levi's first time to play Spring Soccer!  And he was pretty excited to have his dad as his coach. And Eden is on his team!!!

Pancakes for breakfast!

On the 30th, Mikayla and Caden came to our house for the day!  It was pretty special to have some one on one time with them!!

I even got to take out my childhood stash of My Little Ponies!  Caden loves trains so we got to play with those a lot!
Levi had a Publishing Party at school so it was very exciting to hear him read the book that he wrote all by himself about How to Walk a Dog!

While Mason napped in the afternoon, Mikayla, Caden and I soaked up the sunshine on a perfect day!!!

Before they went back to Grandpa and Grandma's house, they all played hide and seek together. Cousins are so much fun!
On the 13th, Levi had his tonsils and adenoids taken out.  Thankfully he is fully recovered now and we're thankful to God for bringing him through that surgery and recovery safely.
