November

To: Mom  From: Mason
Mason has been bringing me papers home almost every time he has preschool!  They are always folded up and taped in an envelope!  I LOVE it.
Cabin Memories
We spent one night at the cabin and enjoyed our day together on Saturday!  Donuts from Spudnutz were first on our agenda!

A sweet gift from a friend!
Mason and I played a lot of games together while Nathan, Dorian and Levi raked up the leaves outside!

There was ice around the lake so Dorian had fun walking on it!
Nathan taught the boys about geocaching and they found quite a few!

Stuffing
Our annual event of making stuffing together as a family!  The boys were really looking forward to cutting up the bread.

Preschool Family Visit Day
Nathan and I had so much fun visiting Mason at preschool!  We played with gingerbread play dough, read books, ate a snack, and read books together.

Then the preschoolers sang a couple of songs for us and gave us a handprint turkey!

Fall Concert
This was Dorian's first band and choir concert!  I LOVED it!  He did a fabulous job playing percussion and singing!

School work
Levi wrote, "I am thankful for my pet guinea pig.  I am also thankful for a warm house and bed.  I am thankful for food.  I am thankful that my mom and dad can care for me.  I am thankful for teachers who teach us math, art, and many more.  Thank you for nice friends.  Thank you for money.  Thank you for everything you give us."
I'm not surprised to see that Mason is thankful for Molly!
Proud of the excellent work that both Dorian and Levi bring home from school!
Levi worked hard at home picking out this coloring page online and coloring and cutting it out!  LOVE it, Levi!
Thanksgiving break
We were thankful that Brian, Katherine, Mikayla and Caden could come for Thanksgiving this year so all of my siblings could be together at Dad and Mom's house!  We went there on Thanksgiving and had a delicious dinner with some extended relatives as well!  Then we went again on Friday and Saturday afternoon.  Mom and Dad had transformed their garage into a heated gathering space where we ate Thanksgving dinner altogether and then turned it into a crafting space!  There were a lot of treasures there and every child went home with unique and fun projects that they had made!

Since we won't all be together for Christmas this year, we opened stocking presents a little early!  Love all those beautiful kids!

Somehow Nathan was challenged to playing Christmas duets with Mom!  :)  We were actually looking for Christmas music for the kids to play because Nathan challenged our family to each learning a Christmas song to play on the piano!
I babysat a couple of times over the break and headed downstairs to take a picture when I heard Dorian reading to Adria and Mason!  So sweet.
Dorian, Levi and Mason have been taking sunrise pictures on my phone lately!  We are all appreciating the beauty of the sunrise!
We spent part of Saturday and Sunday decorating our house for Christmas!

My favorite show is Fixer Upper and one night Mason curled up on my lap and fell asleep while watching.  It was one of those moments I wanted to remember!  How peaceful and sweet.
Thank you Lord, for family and friends to share this journey with!
