Final Fall Clean-up at the Cabin

The boys took the fishing boat out one last time but found out the fish weren't biting.  So they decided to try something new and go for a boat ride on West Lake Okoboji.  Then they took the boat in to get winterized for the season.

There sure were a lot of leaves on our small yard at the cabin!  We made a perfect pile for Mason to jump in!  We also mowed the yard, got the furniture put away for winter, and put plastic over the windows.

School Project
Levi was excited to help his class plant some new trees at school.
Babysitting
My first time babysitting Livian!
Aquaponics
Nathan and the boys worked on making a mini aquaponics system on Levi's fish tank.  I'm thankful for their creativity and willingness to dive in and try new things.

The supplies arrived at the Ag Stewardship Center at Dordt for the Aquaponics System!
We went to check things out during the week where it was getting set up.  Nathan now has an office at Dordt again so that will be a nice option to work there on occasion.  It's been nice having him work from home.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Love to see what my family is thankful for!
Levi and Mason made some things at school that we proudly displayed at our house.
Dorian and Levi had done minimester classes on the 2 days before Thanksgiving break.  They got to pick 3 fun classes to take. Levi loved his cookie decorating class.
We went to Dad and Mom's house for Thanksgiving dinner.  I had a really hard time knowing whether to go or not since Dorian was sick the entire week before.  It's stressful with COVID to know if we should be gathering together.

Craft Day
The boys and I all love craft day at Grandpa and Grandma's house.
Dorian worked with Grandpa all day making things out of wood.

Levi and Mason had fun creating new things, painting and playing with their cousins.

Dorian couldn't wait to hang up the rod holder that he made for our garage!
I found a perfect spot to display all of the boys creations.
I made a birch ladder and was happy how that turned out.
Kerry gave me a wood manger scene so I painted the stable and had fun putting that out too!
We put up our Christmas tree.  I've begun Christmas shopping.  The house is now looking festive and ready for Christmas!
