 Cleanup time at the cabin.

I upgraded my iPhone so that I could get clearer pictures.  Levi is a huge fan of having me take more pictures!

The Yankees played for the first time at the Field of Dreams in Iowa.  We made it into a fun night and watched the game outside on the deck.  It was a great game and an absolutely beautiful night.

Levi enjoyed going to Isaac's birthday party.

We love it when we see bald eagles.

Ready or not...Dorian is off to high school!  This was the first time he used his School Permit to drive to school by himself.  I checked the Find My iPhone app to confirm that he arrived safely!  

Dorian:  Freshman at Unity Christian High School

Levi: 7th grader at SCCS

Mason: 3rd grader at SCCS

Mrs. Bootsma looks like she is ready for a great year!

Mrs. DenBoer is Levi's teacher but getting a picture, even without his teacher, was embarrassing enough. 

Mason started playing flag football again in late August and loved it.

Nathan realized why he felt spent by the end of August when he wrote out the following list of what he's been up to during the 12 weeks from end of May through mid August.

-3 birthdays

-1 graduation

-4 vacations

-3 multi-million dollar grants submitted

-1 new school

-1 new job

-1 anniversary

Summers are fun but they are very short!  Maybe we tried to fit too much in, but hopefully we'll look back on it and not want it any other way!
