Levi and I went bowling and to Wells Blue Bunny for ice cream with some 7th graders from SCCS.
Our family met Kate and Jason Rosema for lunch at a Mexican restaurant in Sibley while they spent a couple of nights at our cabin.Grandparent's Day at SCCS!
Easter Break! We flew to NY to be with the Tintle family.
The kids had fun playing baseball in the backyard.
Hudson, Maddie and Mason.
On Saturday, we all went to the new Legoland! It's pretty fun that it was only 15 minutes from their house!
The roller coaster was one of the highlights of our day.
There were so many impressive structures built out of Legos which were fun to look at!
Maddie, Mason and Levi had fun driving cars, but Hudson didn't enjoy it.
Levi and Mason had fun in the build and create room. They made cars for racing and towers, etc.
At the end of the day, the boys rode the roller coaster about 8 times in a row!
Nice Grandpa!
Mason and Emilia.
Easter! We went to church, ate brunch, and the kids found Easter baskets (pots with seeds, etc) in the backyard.
Dorian made book ends for Grandma.
Mason and Maddie had a lot of fun playing together!
Levi and Hudson were playing ball with Bruno.
We love seeing deer, birds and wild turkey when we visit!
Some other memories from our trip: We met our nephew, Atticus, for the first time! We slept in a camper on their driveway. We had to run through the airport on both of our layovers to catch our plane. Grandpa, Grandma and Suzanne got sick. 4 of the 5 of us got sick once we returned back home. It was especially fun to be with Nathan's sisters and their families since we hadn't seen them since before COVID (over 2 years). Thankful that we could spend time talking and being together again.
The tulips are coming up!
Dorian is playing golf for Unity and doing a great job!
Levi played at the Solo and Ensemble night at SCCS. He did a great job with his saxophone and cello ensembles!
Grandparent's day at Unity for Dorian.
Levi played soccer for SCCS and Nathan helped with coaching. Nice work Levi!
Our rainy Saturday brought about some changes in our plans. Dorian didn't have to work and soccer was cancelled. Dorian and Nathan squeezed in some time to bring the new fishing boat out to the lake and try it out for the first time. We are also trying out a new dock configuration this year. Gearing up for Walleye weekend and another fun summer at the lake!
