March 2025

A fun day of ice fishing for Mason and Bo.

The Loft:  Nathan's new office space!

Unity State Basketball adventures!

Jeremy and Ashley's adorable little girl, Joya Von.  She is precious!

Levi smoked pork to share at school for the Box Lunch Social.

Congrats Levi!  He played Anagnos, a teacher at the Institute of the Blind, in the 'Miracle Worker'.

Mason's 12th birthday party!  He was excited to have Bo, Joel and Liam over to play the game that he created!  They also ate pizza and played capture the flag at the SCCS playground.

Happy Birthday, Mason Jay.  We love you and hope you have a great year.

Congrats to Mason for winning 2nd place at the Pinewood Derby!

February 2025

Way to go Levi!  His quiz bowl team got first place!

We made a last minte decision to spend the boys winter break at Terry Peak!

It was very cold out, but everyone had fun skiing there for 2 days.

We rented this cabin which worked out well.

Levi's pops concert at Unity.

Love Levi's enthusiasm!  Someone at youth group captured this picture of him!

Mason finished a project for school making a minecraft castle!  Their unit ended with a medieval feast which was fun for the kids.

Dorian and Mason went out to shed hunt for the first time, but didn't find any.  They enjoyed a nice sunny day walking outside and then went ice fishing afterward.

Januay 2025

Welcome to 2025!

Levi had fun at the youth group game night playing racquetball with Mikaiah.

After processing 2 deer, we have a lot of venison in the freezer to eat this year!  We also enjoy eating many of the fish that the boys catch and have some of that in our freezer as well!

Mason's competitive spirit and brilliance at word games matches Nathan.  In this Wordle competition, Mason won!

We were saddened by the news that Mason's teacher, Mr. Driese, suddenly passed away.  He directed band and choir.  He also shared his love of fishing with Mason at minimesters.  He was talented and kind and we will miss him at SCCS.

Dorian at school.

I'm excited to start working part time at Vi Bella!  I'm starting out with 10 hours split between 2 days mostly doing their shipping of online orders.  I love their mission of supporting artisans in Haiti and Mexico - helping people living in extreme poverty earn a fair wage for their family.

Nathan and I enjoyed going to school to hear about the science project that Mason's been working on.

Ice fishing

Baby shower for Ashley!

It was an honor for Mason to be chosed for the Northwest Iowa Honor Orchestra!  We definitely enjoyed hearing his performance.  And we're grateful to Mrs. Friend for the work that she does to have such a great orchestra program at SCCS.

December 2024

Dorian's living group doing a service project.  Proud of him for choosing to be a leader this year.

Levi sang in Mannenkoor and played saxophone in the Christmas concert.  Proud of his involvement in these things!

Celebrating Christmas with the Tintle family by staying at the Greenbrier Hotel in West Virginia.

The men and older boys did some trap shooting.

Ice skating with Hudson, Atticus, Preston and Jillian.

Stockings with Grandma and Grandpa Tintle.

Views of the ice on Spirit Lake on our flight home.

Ready for a Christmas party with the Bolkema's.

Merry Christmas!

Happy 75th Birthday, Dad!

Ice fishing on some beautiful winter days.

2 bucks in one season for Dorian!  Proud of his persistence.  This was the first deer he gutted himself.

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but one of power, love, and sound judgment."  2 Timothy 1:7

It's been a year filled with hard conversations, growth, and blessings.  We are so thankful that God is with us each step of the way!
