Levi had fun at the youth group game night playing racquetball with Mikaiah.
After processing 2 deer, we have a lot of venison in the freezer to eat this year! We also enjoy eating many of the fish that the boys catch and have some of that in our freezer as well!
Mason's competitive spirit and brilliance at word games matches Nathan. In this Wordle competition, Mason won!
We were saddened by the news that Mason's teacher, Mr. Driese, suddenly passed away. He directed band and choir. He also shared his love of fishing with Mason at minimesters. He was talented and kind and we will miss him at SCCS.

I'm excited to start working part time at Vi Bella! I'm starting out with 10 hours split between 2 days mostly doing their shipping of online orders. I love their mission of supporting artisans in Haiti and Mexico - helping people living in extreme poverty earn a fair wage for their family.
Nathan and I enjoyed going to school to hear about the science project that Mason's been working on.

It was an honor for Mason to be chosed for the Northwest Iowa Honor Orchestra! We definitely enjoyed hearing his performance. And we're grateful to Mrs. Friend for the work that she does to have such a great orchestra program at SCCS.
