family Christmas

It didn't feel much like Christmas this past Sunday as the snow was all melted and it was 57 degrees outside!  But it was the morning for the Christmas program at Bridge of Hope which is where we've been attending most recently and Levi was going to sing with the other Little Lambs.  :)  All morning Levi was asking when he was going to get to go and sing on the stage because he couldn't wait!  I was so proud of him because he did exactly what he was supposed to do and it was adorable!!!  He recited Luke 2:11 with actions and sang all the songs.  He happened to be in the front and center, right next to Eden, and I think that I smiled the whole time that they were up there!

It was also the day that we had decided to have a Christmas party with our family!  Dorian and Levi set the table for our turkey dinner which was made by my dear husband!  Then later we had Blue Bunny Peppermint Stick ice cream which the Lamfers got me hooked on.  :)  Nathan always likes to eat well!

The boys opened their stocking gifts:  matchbox car, ornaments, lego man, pencil & candy.

Molly enjoyed all of the wrapping paper and also her new bone!

The boys helped with almost all of the wrapping this year!  I got some scrapbooking paper and stickers, and a new outdoor rug for our front door!  Daddy recieved a movie, camping chair, and a new fleece jacket.

The boys each recieved a couple of books and a truck.  The trucks are meant to be for their new sandbox so they'll play with them indoors until Spring.  :)

You can tell that the boys have been hearing a lot about baby Jesus lately and not so much about Santa Claus.  A few weeks ago when Levi saw Santa on television, he said, "There's Noah."  :)

And recently as Levi was drifting off to sleep, he asked me where Santa Claus was.  I told him that Santa is not a real person which is what we always tell him, but he argued that Santa is not pretend and then promptly fell asleep.  :)

The boys were playing together and pretending that Molly was baby Jesus.  I thought it was kind of funny, but then it was hilarious when Levi held up a cell phone to take a picture and said, "Say cheese baby Jesus."

It's a fun time of year!
