Yesterday was our first snow of the season! Dorian has been outside shoveling the driveway probably already 5 different times. And he's good at it. Maybe it will work out after all to not have a snow blower for this Iowa winter. :)
Molly is cream colored, but always looked more white to me. But when we are outside surrounded by the bright white snow, she doesn't look so white after all.
Some things we did this past week:
Monday we took Molly to the vet for some shots and she now weighs 5 pounds. :)
Tuesday we went to the Tree Lighting at Dordt to watch the big evergreen tree get lit, sing Christmas carols, drink hot chocolate, and go for carriage rides.
Thursday I was supposed to go the Matthew West and Mandisa Christmas concert in Sioux Falls, but just as I arrived in SF, Nathan called with unfortunate news. Dorian fell on his head running over to jump on the swing and was briefly knocked unconscious. After an ambulance ride to the ER and waiting for CT scan results to come back, we found out that NOTHING was wrong. Praise the Lord.
Friday morning we went to a MOPS friend's house for a playgroup. In the evening we sat around the table and the boys helped me put stamps and return adress labels on our Christmas cards. It did make me miss our MI friends. Can't wait to get them in the mail.
Saturday we went to the Sioux Center Mall for some train rides. The boys could have sat by Santa, but chose not to. :) And we took home some fun Christmas crafts for the boys. Later in the day we went to the Dordt Blades hockey game as a family.
Currently Nathan is watching football and the boys are playing nicely downstairs!
Yea! Gotta love that fluffy white stuff!! We haven't had any here yet - even though Eddie has been praying for it! :)
