Puppies and Puzzles
In Mason's opinion, there is nothing better than to have a new puzzle with puppies on it! Thanks to Grandma for finding it at The Treasure Chest.
We were really impressed that Mason could do a 300 piece puzzle!
Scrapbooking
I used my free time during the months of January and February to catch up on the boys' scrapbooks!
A Big Breakfast
Without fail, Levi's request on Saturday morning is for a big breakfast! On this particular morning, Dorian had to be dropped off at Dordt for STEMfest so Levi and Nathan had a breakfast date at The Livestock Co. together! It's clear that he loved every bite of his big breakfast!
I'm thankful that Dorian also loved his day with his friend Ethan at STEMfest! He made a robot, learned about food science, built a microscope, and played with Ozobots!
The Queen's Cartoonists
When I heard there was a Jazz band coming to Dordt to play along with cartoons, I knew Levi would love it! It was so fun to watch him sit on the edge of his seat through the whole concert. Our whole family went and liked it. We even decided to buy their CD so we could listen to it again at home!
Valentines
Mason did a wonderful job writing his name on 21 valentines for his classmates and teachers!
I loved the flowers from Nathan and the Valentine from Mason!Chinese New Year
Dorian was invited to join Jaden and his family at the Chinese Restaurant to celebrate the Chinese New Year! Those 2 are such good friends!
Ceramics
I decided to join a friend and take a ceramics class for 6 weeks on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. I took Levi with me one Saturday to show him how to use the pottery wheel! He loved making his own clay bowl.
Snow Fun
Nice snowman Mason!
The boys love it that Mr. Rens plows the snow on our driveway into a huge pile! Nathan helped Dorian tunnel through it before his 4 day work trip to Washington DC.
Levi was inside with Influenza B and strep throat. :( Dorian spent many hours clearing out a room in the snow pile and he couldn't wait to show me how big it was!
The Sound of Music
Kerry blessed us with tickets to see The Sound of Music at the Pavilion in Sioux Falls! What a fun night out with delicious pizza, good conversations, and a wonderful show!
March is coming
I'm thinking that at least some of my free time in March will be spent decorating and cleaning. I'm feeling like Spring Fever is setting in! Thanks Mom for the Magnolia Journal magazines from Texas!
I've been eyeing this plant from Ground Effects and decided I would try having a real plant again...especially since it only needs to be watered monthly!
