Celebrations!
Having just celebrated my 40th birthday and with Nathan's coming soon, my sisters and mom joined together to round up some creepy looking dolls to prank us with.  We had a good laugh!  And we enjoyed spending a day together at the cabin.

We went to the Nutty Bar Stand for dessert and happened to catch the sunset!

Vacation
We enjoyed spending a week at the cabin as a family for our vacation!  The boys got in a lot of fishing time!

The boys went golfing and I happily drove them around in the cart.  It was Mason's first time golfing!

I was excited about the idea of organizing fishing tackle and fixing the broken poles!

Mom and Dad came to Spirit Lake with Jackson, Heidi, Aniah and Eden for a boat ride one afternoon.  I hopped along for a ride and shortly after we realized that the drain plug wasn't in.  Thankfully Nathan answered my call and was able to pull the boat over to the boat lift before it sank!  They came over for pizza and to swim instead.

I took Dorian and Levi to the outdoor movie, Remember the Titans.

We went miniature golfing for the first time at Treasure Village.

 Mason loves doing this puzzle over and over again.

Nathan took Dorian and Mason to the Nature Center on our last day of vacation for the week.  I took Levi back sooner so that he could accept an offer to swim at the pool with Jacob.

It was good to have cleared our schedule so that we could spend the whole week together!

Hiking
Nathan was excited to spend a morning hiking with Paul and Matt.  Levi had to try out the hiking backpack! 

Lessons
Levi has started saxophone lessons!

Happy 40th!
We couldn't wait to surprise Nathan with 40 candles on your ice cream cake!  They even sang the happy birthday song!  We are so thankful for him and looking forward to the next 40 years!

Birthday Weekend
Nathan picked out a hike for us to do on his birthday weekend!  It was fun to explore.  The boys loved the many, many frogs!

The family balloon war was a fun memory!  Molly wasn't too bothered by the boys covering her up with them.  :)

Nathan and I gave the shed a fresh coat of paint!

We enjoyed a family game of baseball.

What a gorgeous day for kayaking!

We love eating outside in the summer!

A windy day is perfect for riding waves on Big Spirit Lake.

Summer Days
Mason is good at doing puzzles!

We were soaking up the warmth and freedom of summer before school started.

Back to School
It's the first year with all 3 boys in school 5 days a week! 
Mason is going to love 1st grade with Mrs. Penner. 

Levi is ready for middle school and has his first year with a locker!

Football
Levi joined the Titan's football team! According to him the most exciting part was that he was able to wear full pads!

 It was so much fun to watch his games.

Sunday afternoon
Mason volunteered to join Nathan on a walk out to Sandy Hollow. Glad they enjoyed their time together! Mason took a lot of pictures of all the flowers!

Growing up
Mason discovered that he can read Magic Tree House books and that we have the whole set! It's precious to see how much he loves to read.

Mason has been very interested in coin collecting!
