June 2019

Cabin Adventures
I took the boys miniature golfing at Pirate's Cove while Nathan squeezed in a bit of work time.
On our drive home, we ended up with a flat tire.  Thankfully we made it to the gas station in Sibley and Nathan made the best of it and taught our boys how to change a tire!  I love it that he enjoys teaching them new things!  The more unfortunate part of our drive home was that we also broke down in Sheldon along the side of the road.  We waited for Grandpa and Grandma to help us out so that we could drive their vehicle home while ours had to be towed.  We'd just decided that it was time to start looking for a more reliable vehicle, but now we'll have to pay for it to get fixed again.  Thankful we all stayed safe!

Happy Birthday, Levi Wayne!!!
We love you and can't wait to celebrate your 11th birthday with you!  The morning started out with a delicious breakfast and birthday presents!
A slime kit from Mason.
A whoopie cushion and diving rockets from Dorian.
Roller blades that Grandpa and Grandma Tintle sent out for you!

We went to the pool and Levi's friend Lane came along with us for the afternoon.  We enjoyed having cake and ice cream for an afternoon snack!

It's pretty awesome when you get cake and ice cream twice on your birthday!  We wanted to celebrate with Levi as a family after Nathan made it home from work!  We gave him a golf glove and money.  He's saving up because he's really been wanting a drone!
Painting and Organizing
I was very proud of Dorian and Levi for painting the play set together!  It looks like new!
Mason was helping with picking up the house and he was proud to show me his work in the laundry room organizing the shoes!  Looks like we need a shoe rack...or less shoes per person.  :)
Party Time
We are thankful for birthday parties with cousins, aunts, grandparents and great grandma!
Aunt Heidi gave you a marshmallow shooter which is just your style!
Your grandparent's knew that you were saving up your money to buy a drone.
Aunt Kerry gave you a few of Uncle Rodney's fishing lures and some money.

It was a beautiful afternoon for a game of wiffle ball.
Firsts!
Mason is looking grown up with his very FIRST missing tooth!
Mason's first year to try out Kindergarten baseball (K Ball).

Thankful
I'm thankful for our home and for rainbows!
Drone
He did it!  Levi saved up enough money to buy a drone with a camera!
June 15
Hudson Maughan Hull.  Congrats to Preston and Jillian!  The boys are very excited to have another boy cousin!
Fun at the Lake
It's always fun to see what washed up at Crandall's beach.
The boys collected some rocks and shells.
What a beautiful and peaceful night.

Mason really loves learning about birds and finding them with his binoculars!

We like to make breakfast sandwiches over the fire.

We enjoyed a visit from Grandpa, Grandma, Heidi, Aniah, Eden and Adria.  Thankfully they got in some swimming time before it started to rain!

It's fun when we can join Dad and Mom at Cutty's for s'mores.
They have a new camper!
Nathan likes to take his boys hiking!

Thanks for the boat ride Grandpa and Grandma!

It was a gray and chilly morning but Dorian and Mason were brave enough to jump in.

We were excited to have a visit from the Zieske family!
Boating with Holli brought back many good memories!

Our children are similar in age and have similar interests so we really enjoyed having them at our house for a couple of days!

Biking and Climbing
We like to take bike rides to the park in the summer and Mason found a good tree to climb!
Sioux-nami Waterpark
We were very impressed with the new water park in Sioux Center!  We all had so much fun on our first visit, that we decided to buy a season pass for the summer.  Mason wasn't tall enough to go down the slides, but because he passed the swim test he can go down all of the slides and even do the zip line!
The lazy river is fun too.

All 3 boys were brave enough to try out the zip line!

Golf
Dorian and Levi were both on the same golf team at The Ridge.  They played during the months of June and July.  They both enjoyed playing this year.

Catfish
Nice catch boys!
