Arnold's Park

Levi, Mason and I stayed for an extra day at the cabin and enjoyed playing on the newly finished Minnie Queen play structure.  We also discovered that there were fishing docks with a lot of fish near them so we went back to get fishing poles.

While Levi and Mason both caught fish, Mason was having so much fun was he completely lost in his own world.

Birthdays

Mason was really excited because he got to celebrate Liam's birthday in the afternoon and Adria's birthday party in the evening at the pool.  He spent most of his time swimming with Sawyer.

Happy 13th Birthday, Levi!!!

We had a family party after church.  It was precious to see you showing Livian your Rubik's cube.

Ice cream sundaes with brownies for dessert!

Dylan and Mikaiah came to celebrate with you, too!  Pizza for lunch, brownies and ice cream for dessert, and swimming at the pool for the afternoon.

Windows

We decided to add 2 windows to our cabin!  

Dad and I spent a day measuring and ordering the windows.  Dad, Nathan and Dorian spent 3 days in 90 degree weather putting them in!  A HUGE thanks to each of them.

I'm so thrilled with how it turned out!  It's so much brighter in both spaces!  The bedroom is safer now that it has a window.  The kitchen is so much brighter and the view is perfect!

Summer Fun

Enjoying time at Sandy Hollow and the library.

Mason and Levi love Zup boarding!  Dorian was so badly sunburned that he didn't get in the water.

We ate lunch at a park in Sioux Falls and then played hide and seek.

Then we went to the Butterfly House.  We saw stingrays and other fish in the aquarium.

Then we walked in to see the butterflies.  

Boundary Waters

Nathan and Dorian had the opportunity to go to the Boundary Waters!  They were in the same group as Parker and Ethan and their dads.

Gettings Garden

Dad joined us to pick some strawberries.  Mason and Levi were very entertained with the friendly goats there.

Cabin Adventures

The water is so shallow on Little Spirit Lake that we walked nearly across the lake on the sandbar and it was only up to our ankles!

Mason had fun catching little bullhead babies.

I didn't realize that a thistle could be so beautiful! 

Baseball

Mason did a great job playing baseball this summer!

Golf

Levi is playing PGA Jr. League again this year!
