On night on Spirit Lake, Dorian caught his limit of walleye on his own!

Levi enjoyed having Ben, Dylan and Mikaiah over to our cabin for a couple of days!

We bought a new fishing boat that will accomodate more fisherman and windier conditions!
The day Nathan, Dorian and Mason picked up the new fishing boat, it was raining and beginning to flood in our area.
There were so many road closures it took me over 2 hours to get home from the cabin.
We had a few inches of water in our storage unit. We also decided to take our speed boat out of the hoist as many others were doing since we could visibly see the water rising on Spirit Lake.
Many of the boat ramps became nearly impossible to use.
There was 5 mph speed limit on all the area lakes.
Root beer floats at sunset...it doesn't get better than that!
Mason could frequently be found reading Harry Potter books!
Nathan picked up sand bags to weigh our dock down so the waves wouldn't rip it apart. The water was only inches from our dock even after we had it raised twice!
I love seeing our house renovation project wrapping up.
I love the new laundry room updates! And yes, Dorian has about 8 pairs of identical shorts!
It also functions as a reading nook!
We repurposed some of our kitchen cabinets and Dad helped me put together this spot for games and books at the end of our hallway downstairs!
That's an impressive variety of fish!
