I think that I must say this every year, but I really can't believe that Dorian is already 7 years old. How fun to celebrate with him!!!
He came straight upstairs when he woke up and was ready to open the presents that had come in the mail over the previous few days. He is proudly wearing his birthday crown that he got at school. :)
Nathan took Dorian and Levi to a Dordt football game in the afternoon and we had a party in the evening! Emma and Claire helped me decorate all of the cupcakes. They were chocolate at Dorian's request. :)
We learned how to play Blokus on our Black Hills vacation and it became one of Dorian's favorite games. So we got it for him for his birthday!
Aniah made a special card and Heidi said that she worked for hours on it!!!
Great Grandma had wrapped up 10 $1 bills each in candy, crackers or toys and Dorian thought that it was really fun and silly to open!
Love his dimple in this picture. :) And I love it that he's reading his own card! He's learned a lot this past year. Can't wait to see what this coming year brings!
Dorian was very excited to open 2 Lego Ninjago sets, a book about Monkeys, a whistling Nerf dart, and money. How spoiled he is!
Hugs for Grandma and Grandpa!
Dorian couldn't wait to open up his Ninjago legos. Grandpa and Aniah were happy to help him get started. And for the following day, he spent every bit of free time working on them until they were both finished!
Ashley, Emma, Claire and Nathan had a fun game of ping pong going on in the garage. This was their best pose for my picture. :)
Levi was pining away for cupcakes and making his decision about which one was his favorite.
Time for singing Happy Birthday, blowing out 7 candles, and eating cake and ice cream.
We love you dearly Dorian!
