June memories....

Levi is 6 years old!
And we had fun celebrating with family and friends!
His first party was with the Bolkema's.

It was extra special to get Grandpa's bag that he used when he was in the Navy...and it was filled with legos!!!
And then the lego building and sorting began!

Levi had an oreo cookie cake!

We found a park in Sioux Center that we hadn't played at before and the boys had fun exploring!  I love it when I can get a picture with all 3 boys in it!
Our next party was on Levi's birthday!  He had fun opening a Mario Brothers game that Aunt Suzanne sent in the mail.

We gave him binoculars and walkie talkies!  Then we ate his favorite breakfast: eggs, hash browns and SAUSAGE.  :)

Mason loves to feed Molly
Levi looked very handsome on his birthday as he was the miniature groom in Tyler and Janelle's wedding.  He was very brave and did a great job taking pictures, walking down the aisle and standing up during the wedding!

Claire was the miniature bride and they made a super cute pair!
Levi even got another birthday present and had time to play his Leapster!

It's a good day when Nathan and Mason are both in ties!

Our next celebration was with Grandpa and Grandma Tintle.  Levi was thrilled to have the Lego Movie set that he had been wanting for months.

We even got to go to the Sioux Center celebration parade together!
Sunday afternoon was a perfect time to walk around, play and have a picnic at Oak Grove.

Levi's next celebration was with his friends: Isaac, Ryan and Jax.
Levi wrote little notes that said, "thank you for coming. Love, Levi" and put oreo cookies in the bags for each of them to take home.
The boys had fun playing games together!
Precious!
On Father's Day my dad came over for lunch and to play.  I ran to get the camera when I saw him swinging outside with the boys.  How sweet.  And it looks like he's having just as much fun as they are!
Look at all of these wonderful boys in my life.  :)

While in CA for a conference, Nathan enjoyed a day to climb Mt. Whitney.  I was very thankful that Jillian joined him!  I'm also thankful for the beautiful pictures that she took.  :)  And I'm very thankful that they both made it there and back safely.

I took the boys to the Sioux Falls Zoo and Claire was able to join us!  Then we stayed overnight there so I could go on a bike ride early the next morning with Kerry and her friends.

Mason's favorite thing to do is to push the stroller.  He's spent countless hours pushing it around this summer and has gotten very good at steering it where he wants to go!  It was even more fun than looking at animals.  :)

I think we have 3 silly monkeys of our own that bring joy to our lives every day!
