February 2016

What a beautiful sight.  Dad and his 3 boys making tunnels in the snow together in our front yard.
Super Bowl Sunday.  Dorian was feeling too sick to even eat pizza.  :(  But Mason enjoyed his while watching the game!
It's time to catch up on the boys' scrapbooks!  I found space in our bedroom to work!
Mason has been having a lot of fun putting puzzles together.  The farm floor puzzle is his favorite and he can do it independently!
The other thing Mason's been enjoying the last couple of weeks is taking pictures with my phone.  I am really enjoying his perspective!

Levi enjoyed beach day at school and a visit from Owen's dad who is in the National Guard.

On February 12-15 we had a visit from the Rosema family!  On Saturday afternoon we went to the Ice Cream Capitol of the World for Blue Bunny Ice Cream.  After supper, we went bowling.

I guess when it takes so long for your ball to get to the pins, it's worth just taking a seat to wait.  :)

Sunday morning was Valentine's Day and the boys were spoiled by their Grandparents with little gifts to open!

In the afternoon we enjoyed swimming and Dale's homemade malts!

On Monday, Kate was able to spend some time with Mason and I.  The Rosema family left that afternoon.

We celebrated Valentine's Day on Tuesday and ended up car shopping for many hours.  Nathan came home with a new (well, 2001) truck.  It's been nice to have a second working vehicle again.
Nathan sent flowers to me and then he grilled a delicious steak dinner after the boys were in bed!

Mason and Adria playing in the snow.
The following photos are more pictures that Mason took!  I love them!

We were very proud of Dorian for doing such a great job on his persuasive speech!  Everyone in his class wrote about something they would like changed at their school and the principal even came to hear them!  Dorian was super excited that one of the 3 things the principal picked to change was his idea!  Now they have extra recess time in 3rd grade until the end of the year!  It's made him think about how his opinion matters!  What a great experience.
Mason always likes to run before I do!
Nathan took Dorian and Levi to Oak Grove this afternoon to hike!  They had a fun time!
