Vacation time

July 16 Travel day to Ann Arbor, MI
A long day of driving demands a little popcorn for a bedtime snack at the hotel!

July 17 Magic Show at the Library
Levi was so excited that he was picked to go up on stage!

July 18 Canoeing

What a peaceful and enjoyable trip down the river.

July 19 The Detroit Zoo
The new penguin exhibit was a lot of fun.  Walking down this ramp made it feel like we were on a ship in the middle of the ocean!

July 21  Our first day at Grandpa and Grandma's Lake House
After a full driving day on the 20th, we were so excited for our Lake House adventures to begin with the Tintle family.
I started the day with a run in my new shoes and found this fabulous spider web!

The kayaks were a new addition this year so the boys couldn't wait to try them out.  Levi absolutely loved them.

The loft that Grandpa is working on building was a fun new place to explore.

This picture reminds me of how excited Grandma was to see her 4 grandchildren and all of the preparation she did before we came!

Dorian couldn't wait to get his fishing pole in the water!

The boys had a lot of fun playing Rat a Tat Cat with Jill, Preston and Grandma.  It was a pleasure to meet Preston and spend some time him and Jill.

July 22
Drew, Cara and Maddie are here!  It was pretty cute to see Mason and Maddie playing cars together.

I had never heard on an ice cream ball before.  What a fun way to make homemade ice cream!

July 23
Grandpa took us boating.  Dorian and Levi love the hiding places.

Mason thought that having 2 dogs was pretty amazing!  Nells and Bruno got a lot of attention.

Woohoo!  Levi caught a big fish!

What a gorgeous view!  Plus Dorian and Levi were playing so nicely together that I was able to actually read a magazine.  A picture perfect moment.

July 25
Our first travel day back home. 

We got to meet up with Suzanne in Cleveland!  It was nice to see her again!

July 26
A morning swim at the hotel before another long day of driving.

We made it to Sioux Center!  Our trip ended with big smiles to see Molly again!

God is so good to us.  What fun memories and what a blessing for health and safety on this trip!
