Mowing
Our neighbor called and asked if Dorian would like to mow for her this summer.  Dorian has his first job!

Arnold's Park
In anticipation of Levi's birthday, we went to Arnold's Park to ride the Legend Roller Coaster.  It was something that Levi really wanted to do since he wasn't tall enough last time . Mason enjoyed his ride on the little roller coaster.

Fishing with Friends
We'd been trying our best to catch fish and weren't too successful.  We invited the Boogerd family to join us one Saturday and Matt helped the boys catch walleye, and some other fish off of our dock!

It was so fun to spend the afternoon and evening with friends.  And we even got to see a beautiful rainbow at the end of the day.

A new backpack for 3rd grade.

The one consistent thing that Levi has wanted over the past years has been a pet of his own.  So he was thrilled to see a guinea pig cage!

Grandpa and Grandma Tintle gave a long board!  Levi couldn't wait to FaceTime with them and show them his new moves!  It makes him look like he's a year older!  :)  Thank you Grandpa and Grandma Tintle!

In the evening, Grandpa and Grandma Bolkema, Great Grandma, Heidi and her girls came to our house to celebrate!  Levi loved the water tag game and the Nerf gun from Grandpa and Grandma.

Aunt Heidi gave him a poop emoji floaty which was fitting for both of their personalities.  :)  They both like a good laugh.

Great Grandma gave him money which he wants to use for his guinea pig!

I love it that neighbor friends showed up to play and joined us for ice cream cake!

Levi's signature move lately has been the dab.  :)  Crazy kids!

The morning after his birthday we left for Sioux Falls to find a guinea pig at the pet store!  He couldn't wait!  He was thrilled to find one with the coloring that he wanted and named his new pet, Oreo!

The Cabin
A family who rented our cabin from previous owners found our contact information and inquired about renting from us.  I was excited about this possibility so we tried it out!  I took Mason with me to clean it, make the beds with clean sheets, and get things ready while Dorian and Levi went to an Outdoor Skills Day at Oak Grove.  It went well and we'd be happy to rent it out again sometime.
