Fishing
Levi caught the first fish off of our dock on Little Spirit Lake!
Dorian caught the 2nd!
It was a good day to try out his new floatie.
This corner was a pile of leaves, dock pieces, mud, pavers that were left from the previous owners, etc.  It was a mess.  I've been having fun uncovering things and putting to use some of the pavers.  And a hosta even grew there this spring!
I love it when the boys read!  Precious.
What a great dad!  Grilling in the rain.  Thankful for him and that we can hide out inside when it's raining.

After many attempts at catching fish on our own, we finally had a successful day!  6 fish altogether!!!  Way to go boys!  What an exciting day.

Another rainbow!

I love the sunsets!

Mason and I went out for a boat ride together.
Father's Day
It was fitting that Nathan slept in on Father's Day.  :)  That only happens about once a year.  We were ready with cinnamon rolls, coffee and hand written notes.
Swimming Lessons
Mason learned how to do the back float!!! Ms. Molly was a great instructor and Mason has learned a lot.
Pelican
It was so fun to see a pelican so close up!

After breakfast, I met up with Dad, Kerry, Ashley and Emma to go for a bike ride around East and West Lake Okoboji.  We ended up riding 22 miles and we were super thankful that we had such beautiful weather.
California
Nathan went to CA for work and took these beautiful pictures!  So pretty.  It's different than our view at the lake!

Cutty's
I took the boys to Cutty's to meet up with my Dad, Eden and Adria.  The paddleboats, the pool, miniature golfing, shuffleboard, and the playground made for a busy but super fun day!

Tammy
My friend Tammy came for a night to visit so we spent it at the cabin and had fun kayaking, boating, and talking together!  She is a talented photographer and took most of the following pictures!
There was a bald eagle flying above us!

We went to look at the sheep that live on the land across from our cabin!

What a great summer so far!
