As I'm writing this it's a hot July afternoon...84 degrees, sunny and very humid. It's really hard to believe that this is what it looked like on May 1 at our house! I'm also thankful it doesn't usually snow in May! :)
Kindermusik Celebration Class
It has been so fun to take Mason to Kindermusik with Mrs. Heidi. This was his last class as next year he will be in preschool! Nathan and I had fun watching him, playing with him and making silly faces! It's not too often he has undivided attention from both of us. :)
Justin and Katie's Wedding
We drove to Lacrosse, WI and stayed at a hotel with a pool for the weekend of Justin and Katie's wedding.
There was a break between the wedding and reception so Nathan took some kids miniature golfing and then many relatives decided to play games outside together!
Spring
It's so pretty when everything starts growing in the Spring! I love perennial plants. :)
Lola's Farm Field Trip
Mason cannot stop talking about the puppies at Lola's farm! He even got to feed them one of their first solid meals! He would now like a baby puppy of his own. :) Oh, and we also saw ducks, horses, goats, cows and got to ride on a golf cart! What a fun morning!
Birthday Party
Aniah is 11, Eden is 9 and Adria is 5. That's a great reason to celebrate!
Spring Soccer
Dorian and Levi each started playing soccer and Nathan coached for both of their teams! Mason and I enjoyed watching from the sidelines!
Docks and Kayaks in the water!
After watching soccer, Dad came with us out to the cabin. Along the way, he showed us the farm where he grew up. I remember many rides on their 3 wheeler, the candy bucket, and playing outside on the front porch!
Mason fell asleep...which is almost always the case if we are out for a drive in the afternoon.
Woohoo! The docks were getting put in and it was the first time to try out our new kayaks!
Dad and Nathan put in the boat and we are so ready to have fun making memories together!
Team Photo
Nice work boys! It was another fun season of soccer.
Last Preschool Coop Date
Mrs. Heidi had some fun things planned at her house for our last time to meet together. It was a perfect fit for Mason for this past year!
Graduation
Congratulations on your graduation, Ashley! I'm so excited that she plans to be at Dordt in the Fall!
Cello
Levi has been bursting with excitement about having the opportunity to play in orchestra at school next year! He was set on wanting to play the cello. I love the smile on his face in this picture! Based on how he has to show everyone that comes to our house, we're certain he's excited about this new adventure!
SCCS Program
I love this program every year when all of the kids sing together. I'm so thankful for their committed Christian teachers and friends.
Last Day
It was the last day of school for Dorian and Levi, and Mason wanted to take out our little pool! Let summer vacation begin!
A few photos from Dorian's 4th grade year.
Making Memories at the Lake
The hoist is in on Big Spirit Lake and we have some friends who plan to use it this summer.
Wow, it doesn't get more relaxing than this!
Mason's favorite place to be is playing Uno with Molly. :)
Ready, Set, Go!
Run.Jump.
Splash.
Love their enthusiasm and their bravery!
We love to eat outside!
We love to eat outside!
Mason worked up the courage to jump in also!
Memorial Day
It was 62 degrees and windy but that didn't stop us from having fun showing Kerry, Heidi and their girls our cabin on Memorial Day. The kids even all played in the water!
I guess you can sink a paddleboard if you have enough kids on it!
A picnic inside was in order so that we could all warm up!
We took a walk down to the beach to collect, throw and skip rocks!
Yum. Smores for dessert.
Our day ended with seeing a rainbow in the sky!
Water Table
Mason is still small enough to fit in the water table. :)
We love warm weather, sunshine and being outside!
Another month filled with so many blessings.
Thank you God for our health, safety, and the blessing of knowing that you are always in control no matter where we go.
