Nathan took Levi and his friend, Dylan, to the cabin for a couple of days.  The water level on Little Spirit Lake is still very low so they walked out on the point to do some fishing.

They also fished on Big Spirit Lake from the fishing boat.

After getting donuts at Spudnutz, they also fished on the dock on East Lake Okoboji.

They ended up with a lot of fish!  And had a lot of fun!

June 2 was a very hard day.  Just after supper, our dog Molly was hit by a car and died.  We were in shock and all in tears.  She was our companion and friend.  She was always home with us and always came with us to the lake.  She was a part of so many of our memories.  We loved her dearly so she is dearly missed.

We had a day trip planned to go fishing on the Missouri River the very next day. We decided to go even though our hearts were hurting.  It was a beautiful location and a good day to all be together.

Love seeing Dorian and Mason fishing together and happy to drive them out to Sandy Hollow.

We've been working on making the garage space neat, organized and useful.  Love it.

We can't believe you're 14 years old and now have a driver's permit!!!

We had fun giving you a (Matchbox) car for your birthday and a wallet (with some money) to put your new Driver's Permit in!

The chocolate chip cookie cake was delicious and we enjoyed giving you candles that didn't blow out!  Love how Levi enjoys life!  Praying for a blessed year ahead for him.

Twins vs Yankees.  We had such a fun day together!  We drove to Minneapolis, checked into our hotel, and walked over to the stadium in time for a stadium tour.

Levi caught a ball thrown into the stands by Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks. Later in the game, Dorian caught a ball thrown into the stands by the Yankees third base coach. Our seats behind the Yankees dugout were a lot of fun!

At the end of the game, the Yankees bullpen coach handed a ball for Mason through the netting. So, each boy ended up with a game ball and an autograph from a hall of famer. Quite a night!

Hours.  This boy could spend many hours happily fishing here.

It was June 17 and Father's Day weekend when we were finally able to pick up our speed boat from getting repaired.  Levi and Dorian tried out the wakeboard and Mason had a ride on the Zup board.  It was fun to be out on the water again!  However, after multiple expensive repairs and the long time in the shop, the boat still needed more work and wasn't running very well.  So we made the decision to trade it in.

Happy Father's Day to an amazing Dad!  We hope the smokeless firepit will be fun to use!

Levi loved going to Dordt Discovery Days!  He made an amazing deer sculpture and performed in the drumline.

We love picking fresh strawberries from Getting's Garden.  Kerry, Ashley and Grandpa joined us, too!

We love it that Grandpa and Grandma camp at Cutty's so we can spend time with them there!
