It was a SUPER hot and SUPER humid day on the evening of the Village Fireworks in Sheldon. But that didn't stop us from having a fun night anyway. After a number of complaints about the heat, we started playing a game where you earned points for having a positive attitude rather than complaining. :) Nathan, Ashley and Emma were having a lot of fun with that!
We started off the evening eating a pizza from the Pizza Ranch. How can you go wrong there! Then we went to find the wagon rides because Levi really wanted to see the horses. :)
Then the boys went on a couple of rides but the Ferris wheel was their favorite. Thankfully there wasn't really a line to get on since they rode it 4 times!
The last time we took the boys to fireworks, Nathan ended up taking them home to bed since it was so late and they didn't like the loud noise. This year, they both sat and watched for a little while and then drifted off to sleep.
It was a great display and I really enjoyed being there with family!
